Ceramic Tile Marking Process From Start to Finish- A beautiful design option!
Hello there and thank you for checking out our webpage describing the blank ceramic tile marking process we utilize to deliver exquisite displays for our customers!
The ceramic tile marking process can be achieved by multiple different methods (e.g., Norton white tile method) but below we will describe the process we utilize at Nyikey Laserations LLC to get superb and repeatable results from our lasers.

Our Process:
Step #1: Procure the blank tiles and then start the process of using isopropyl alcohol to ensure each tile is clean and free of any foreign materials before step #2.
Step #2: After the blank tiles are cleaned, we then utilize a specially designed "marking spray" that is made specifically for laser marking. The marking spray is evenly coated on the tiles and then we allow the tiles to dry for at least 1 hour.
Step #3: While the tiles with the marking spray continue to dry, we start the process of designing the laser program and ensuring proper alignment of the equipment and especially the laser. This ensures the designs are centered on the tile displays.
Step #4: After the design has been created and the equipment and laser alignments have been verified, we then load the "marked" tiles into the laser's working area and start the process of the laser marking the tiles. The process of the laser actually "marking" the tile takes roughly 1.5 hours - 2 hours per tile.
Step #5: After the tile is marked and the laser program has completed, we then rinse the tiles clean to reveal only the design we properly marked on the tiles. Next, we slowly sand the tiles down to the proper size to fit perfectly in our hand-stained frames for an elegant display in any decor!
